Top Ten

I’ve been meaning to put down a list of my top 10 songs for quite some time now. These are the songs which I’ve have been listening to for the past 5 years or so, meaning that they did not make this list easily. These are the songs which make me stop and put me in an introspective mood or put me in a better mood.

Anyways, in no particular order…

  1. The Verve – Bittersweet Symphony
  2. Pink Floyd – Sorrow
  3. Pink Floyd – Keep Talking
  4. Led Zeppelin – No Quarter
  5. Pearl Jam – Black
  6. Joe Satriani – Flying in a Blue Dream
  7. Junoon – Dharti ke Khuda
  8. Led Zeppelin – Achilles’ Last Stand
  9. The Who – Baba o’Riley
  10. Oasis – Wonderwall

P.S: The wikipedia page on memes is very informative. AYBABTU made me smile and laugh!

About robotgeek

Rocker, philosopher, Mac lover, geek, robotics freak and an optimist. These describe me adequately, i guess! When I find time away from my lab, I love to code my robots using java to be compatible with robocode . I also make it a point to visit Slashdot or read on Wikipedia . Of course, all this has to be done while listening to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Metallica or Pearl Jam, mostly on Shoutcast online radio . I also like to read. Though I don't find much time now, I generally stick to what I like, which is Ayn Rand. Let's just hope the world heads in the right direction 2004 has been the year of the blog, and I could not be left out!

finally a post i could understand! so i’m commenting yay! interesting list.. i remember a couple of us tried to make a list like this in school and ended up with over 200!
but do you ever feel like a song that you would technically consider “good” is not really your “favourite”? similarly with movies.. you might watch it and appreciate it, but the movies you would want to watch again and again are a completely different list..

or maybe it’s just me.. oh well, my two cents.

Hmm, I restricted the list with great difficulty to 10. What surprised me was that the songs that made the list were not all from my top artists/albums list.
