Google adds new feature

Google added a new feature in gmail. Well, if you haven’t seen this…well, just wait. That’s why gmail is still in beta and patience pays!

RSS feeds, in your email. Well, who wud have thought of that!! It displays line by line the new feeds.

Take a look at the attached pic for confirmation.

Gmail RSS Feed

Update:

If you notice the top row, it’s called “web clip”. And you can read your RSS Feeds, one by one (or atleast preview them), right from your Gmail account. You can subscribe to blogs, news sites, etc. Anything with RSS on it!!

If you don’t have this feature, don’t worry. It will come by real fast (hopefully!). They basically hand out a new feature to a handful of users, and then depending on feedback, scrap it/expand it. It’s called a beta!.

Anyways, this feature though is cool, is kinda useless as I read my feeds online using lilina.

What would be real cool would be the ability to view POP emails of non-gmail accounts (get my mail from university account). Yep, that would be cool! I would scrap using thunderbird, etc!!

What … they put this up only for you ? details of the feature ? What site was that ?

All this when i was trying to mess around with rss. Damn …

PS: I couldn’t edit my old comment hence the new one.

PPS: Is the brown color for comments something you chose ? Or something that you forgot to edit, seems out of place.
